It is very important that our children learn Biblical Truth, build a foundation
on God's Word, and study from a Biblical Worldview."For other foundation
can know man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1 Corin. 3:11 KJV).
We have done a lot of research and praying about how God would have us raise our
children. We believe homeschooling is the best way to train up children for God's
glory. Most importantly that they be taught to defend their faith from Genesis 1:1
through Revelation. We support those that homeschool and want to help those
that are considering homeschooling. My wife has done extensive research regarding
homeschool techniques, requirements, and laws. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 KJV)
OUR SOLE PURPOSE IS TO HELP FAMILIES BECOME STRONGER THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, TO EDUCATE AND INFORM THEM REGARDING THEIR OPTIONS TO TEACH THEIR CHILDREN AT HOME. PLEASE UNDERSTAND OUR POSITION: THERE ARE A LOT OF GOOD, GODLY PEOPLE IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM, BUT THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF INFORMATION TAUGHT AS FACT WHEN MANY OF THESE THEORIES CANNOT BE OBSERVED, TESTED, OR PROVEN WITH ANY ACCURACY (THAT IS THE BASIS FOR SCIENCE). HISTORY IS RECORDED INFORMATION FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME. PRIOR TO THAT POINT IN TIME, IT'S JUST AN OPINION THAT CONTRADICTS THE BIBLE - GOD'S INFALLIBLE WORD. HOW THEY INTERPRET IT IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL'S SOURCE OF FOUNDATIONAL INFORMATION FROM WHICH THEY BUILD THERE THINKING
ON.START WITH GENESIS 1:1, BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION AND UNDERSTANDING
OF THE FALLEN WORLD AROUND YOU THROUGH SCRIPTURE. THEN YOU'LL KNOW THAT THERE IS
MORE THAN ONE WAY TO INTERPRET LIFE, PAIN, SUFFERING AND ETERNITY. USE THAT FOUNDATION
TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THE BASIS OF TRUTH THROUGH GOD'S WORD.
Dear parents, The soul of a child
is molded one day at a time, 365 days a year, for twenty years. Although this is
a long commitment for a father and a mother to make, it is the way God has ordained
for a small baby to be brought to a place of Christian maturity. There are many ways
we could look at this task. We could say, "Oh no! 7,300 days of duty until I'm
done." Or we could say, "Praise God! I have 7,300 precious days to mold
the mind, will, and emotions of my child for God." You may be at either end
of this spectrum of parental desire or somewhere in the middle. I must confess that
there are days when I am filled with enthusiasm for the task of the day, and there
are days when I simply do what I do out of a sense of duty. We call it holy grit
at our house. I have been amazed through the years at how many times I have entered
into my responsibility out of duty only to see the Lord add to my task the inspiration
and enthusiasm. Oh, the beautiful, rewarding exercise of molding the soul of a child!
The potential of each one can hardly be measured at the time of the molding. I want
to encourage you to keep on being faithful to the task. The days will come when you
will begin to see the beautiful character of Christ forming in your son or daughter.
May God bless your times of teaching.
