If you took someone from your family tree from about 300-400 years ago and
compared the various differences, you would see that there are many differences.
If you compared the offspring in between, you would see that each individual had
different characteristics and features, but you would also see certain information
repeat itself. For example, very short or very tall, blond hair, blue eyes, or darker/lighter
skin color, that's because the information to make these changes was already there.
Only dominant and recessive genes within our complex information systems paved the
way to you and me. If you take the Bible and trace all the way back to Adam and Eve,
you could understand how God built these complex systems into the first human creation
so that there would be variety within a kind. (Luke 3:23-38)
Now if at some point these features were suddenly separated by some means, certain
characteristics and the language they used would dominate each individual group.
(Babel)
In history each offspring carried all the information until, what
scientists call today, an event that must have broken one culture or mix of people
into many different groups. If some information wasn't available in a group, certain
characteristics would no longer be available and would eventually not be found in
that culture/people group. This would explain why there are different cultures/people
groups all over the world with many similarities. Again, if you open your Bible to
the Book of Genesis there was such an event that took place at the tower of Babel.
"So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth:
and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because
the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the
LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth." (Genesis 11:8-9)
If
people were divided into groups and isolated by a language barrier, eventually certain
characteristics would be lost and certain characteristics would be dominant in the
way they looked and the language they used; thus producing slight variations within
each group, but many similarities still dominate. Did you know that everyone in this
world is 99.9% the same? On this level of thinking, you can look at anyone in the
world and it's obvious we all have the DNA to reproduce ourselves, but have lost
information that we once had to produce all characteristics available because of
a separation (Babel). Once again refuting the evolutionary theory that man is gaining
information when this has never been observed.
On an episode of a popular science progam DNA testing was done on people from different cultures/people groups all over the world by secular scientists. They found that the basic building blocks that made each and every individual they tested had the same basic information to build on and that they all had to have come from one person or one source. Wow, scientists have found out what the Bible has been saying all along. "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth,... And hath made of one blood all nations for to dwell on all the face of the earth," (Acts 17:24a,26a). Do the research yourself. The evidence is found in many different sources from many different publications. Before the time of Moses, God hadn't told His people they couldn't reproduce with close family members, so as far as Cain choosing a wife, there was nothing wrong with him marrying his sister. Most people's first thought, "INCEST". Just like the word dinosaur the word incest wasn't invented until long after the days of Moses. It's easy to understand that children grew up to be adults and they had many children. Then those children grew up and had children and so on. It doesn't take very long to populate a society which could then grow into great numbers. If they were to be fruitful and multiply, where was it written that anything was wrong with who they chose? God did not forbid brothers and sisters or other close relatives marrying until He gave Moses the Law approximately 2,500 years after Creation! So Cain most likely married his sister. Today, that would be incest and could/would cause harmful deformities, but back then the gene pool was closer to perfect and did not cause problems. Why do we look at the world's history, geology, biology, astronomy, and anthropology (etc.) and then compromise what we know is Truth with man's opinion. Why don't we trust the Bible that has never changed - where everything we see can be explained and justified through His Word from Genesis 1:1 forward?
